Saturday morning cartoons: Wes Anderson’s ‘Moonrise Kingdom’ shorts
Wes Anderson’s Moonrise Kingdom is making its way across the US, and getting pretty damn good reviews along the way. As a companion to the movie, Anderson produced this series of short animated films, each representing a story contained in the library books Suzy stole before setting off on her adventure with Sam. The shorts, which were originally intended to be in the movie, are narrated by Bob Balaban, who also narrated the film.
