This series is great. I believe that it will have, in twenty years, the same reverence that is given to a “Rockford Files” these days. Smart, funny, touching, these are par for the course for series television these days. But, this show demonstrates a mastery of convenience to those emotions that plays very well on the screen. And the acting for all performers is superb! It's almost like you as a viewer are transformed into their world, is that too hokey an analogy? The two main protagonists Hank Dolworth and Britt Pollack are characters that feel real and at the same time fleeting. They transcend the basic drama series with this realness. The supporting cast cannot be discounted in their application of stagecraft either, it transcends standard TV fare. Look for this, if you can, and marvel at what TV can be.
